Friday September 9th- Psalm 10 He is our eternal King

6:00 PM

Today's Reading Schedule -Psalm 10Romans 15:8-13

We live in a wicked world that is always warring against our souls.  They think that nothing will happen to them.  They brag in their evil desires and are too proud to seek God.  We see it every day all around us, everyone doing what is right in their own eyes.  They do not realize that someday He will hold them accountable.  They will not be here forever!

 As followers of Christ we know that He is our King forever and ever!  We have a hope and a future!

~He hears the desires of the humble before Him

James 4:6- GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.                                James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

~He will strengthen our hearts

II Thess. 3:3- But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.                       I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

~He inclines his ear to us

Psalm 31:2- Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly;
Be to me a rock of strength,
A stronghold to save me.

~He vindicates the orphan and the oppressed

Psalm 43:1- Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation;
O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!

Pause and Reflect:

Are you humble before Him?                                                                                                                      Is He the One who strengthens your heart?                                                                                              Do you believe that He hears you and will fight for you?

 Let's Pray:

Father, we cry out to You in these days when we wonder sometimes where are you?  It seems like no one is doing what is right and we can so easily succumb to a faint heart.  We know that You hear us and You are a very present help in time of need.  Help us to come to you with humble hearts as we put our hope and trust in You.  You are faithful!  Help us today to be strong in You Lord and in the strength of Your might!  To rejoice in You, our King forever and ever.

Selah,                                                                                                                                                       Lyn
