Scripture Saturday ~ "Becoming A Woman After God's Own Heart - A Journey Through The Psalms"
12:00 AM
Happy Scripture Saturday!
My verse from our reading this past week....
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day long. (Psalm 25:4,5)
Knowing that God is wise and full of truth shows me that I should not “lean on my own understanding”, but ask for His guidance and know deep in my heart that it is trustworthy and valuable.
Our life is a journey - steps taken to our final destination. Making our own plans, making decisions without the counsel of God could lead us to trouble. Psalm 25:4 and 5 reminds me that my heart should be continuously turned to Him, the One that wants to show His faithful and constant care for me and for you. When we ask our Father for discernment He will give us the best advice - He can’t do anything but that. His Spirit will give us insight as to how to handle day to day, in moment by moment situations. What we need to say at the beginning of each day is, “I am not going to make a move today without being aware of God’s presence.” Let’s make that a habit! He is inviting us to lean into His loving guidance and learn of His truth. Praise God our Father!
Don't forget to share with us the attribute of God that most spoke to you this week!
