Week Thirty-one

Welcome!  We pray that you have all had a precious time worshipping the Lord this morning!  Below you will find some thought provoking questions that will provide you a starting point to your journal writing to complete this week.  We hope that you will find this time soul satisfying!

Our reading this week was Ezekiel 1 - 37...

1. Consider God’s stubborn and powerful love. How does it feel to be loved so deeply? Ask God to help you comprehend this love in a new way. What can you do to become a more faithful worshiper and more devoted to loving Him.

And when I passed by and saw you again, you were old enough to be married. So I wrapped my cloak around you to cover your nakedness and declare my marriage vows. I made a covenant with you, says the Sovereign LORD, and you became Mine. (Ezekiel 16:8)

2. About what three trials in your life do you tend to complain or grumble? Make these struggles the focus of your own mini-praise service. Thank God for how He can teach you in the midst of these messes.

Son of man, I am going to take away your dearest treasure. Suddenly she will die. Yet you must not show any sorrow. Do not weep; let there be no tears. (Ezekiel 24:16)

3. What God-honoring desire do you sense deep in your soul? What have you done to realize that dream? Offer it completely to Christ as a sacrifice, and trust Him for what happens next. Ask Him to make His desire yours.

And I will give you a new heart with new and right desires, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony heart of sin and give you a new, obedient heart. (Ezekiel 36:26)
