Week One
Welcome! We pray that you have all had a precious time worshipping the Lord this morning! We would like to offer you, on a weekly basis, an opportunity to journal your journey through the readings of the past week. Below you will find some thought provoking questions that will provide you a starting point to your writing. We pray that you will find this time soul satisfying!
Our reading this week was Genesis 1:1 - 20:18.
1. Do you cling to the promises of God? List four or five of His promises to you and thank Him for His unending faithfulness. Ask Him to grow your faithfulness in response to His.
2. How has God intervened on your behalf? Think of the times that you have been spared suffering, heartache, or even minor inconvenience because of His great love. Give praise to God who helps us in our time of need.
3. Have you completely opened your heart to God? In what areas are you tempted to exclude Him. When you feel most alone, remember that God loves you, that He sees you, and that He has been faithful to His people throughout history.
