New WITW Study - Becoming A Woman After God's Own Heart, A Journey Through The Psalms

5:33 AM

There’s a lot of hurt in the world. And Christian’s aren’t immune. But unlike the rest of the world, we have a place to go for comfort, healing, and love. The Word of God is our handbook for life. And the book of Psalms is the ancient hymnal of God’s people. The 150 individual psalms were written by many different people across a period of a thousand years in Israel’s history. From rejoicing to sadness, frustration to anger, the psalms give voice to the deep emotions of human life. And its passages depict just what it means to communicate our raw, sometimes ugly, emotions to the Lord. That’s why here at WITW, we chose the Psalms for our new fall study. Starting August 29th, we’ll begin, “Becoming a Woman After God’s Own Heart - A Journey through The Psalms.” Monday through Friday we’ll be writing a daily devotional. On the weekend, Sandra will be posting an exercise helping us wrap up the week. So tell your friends, and join us as we dig deep into God’s Word. And prepare to be blown away by all He reveals to you. Follow the link and join in on the discussion! https://www.facebook.com/groups/womenintheword2
