Scripture Saturday!
Welcome back to WitW and our study of the Psalms! We hope that you all had a restful time with the Lord, family and friends over the Christmas and New Year’s break.
As a reminder to those that are returning, and for those who are new to this study, as a Christian ministry dedicated to studying the Bible with women, we encourage participation and would love to hear what the Holy Spirit has revealed to you. Scripture Saturday will challenge you to go a bit deeper during your readings of psalms (that we will be reading on each day of the following week) - to see Jesus in each Psalm, as well as discover God’s attribute(s) that the psalmist “brings to light” in his worshiping words.
So that being said…this coming week’s reading and connecting readings are:
Seeing Jesus/Going beyond God’s attribute(s)
that I found in the
Psalm
Monday 1/16 Psalm 71 Isaiah 2:5
Tuesday 1/17 Psalm 72 Romans 1:1-6
Wednesday 1/18 Psalm 73 Matt 5:8; John 1:14
Thursday 1/19 Psalm 74 1 Cor 1:20
Friday 1/20 Psalm 75 Eph 3:8-11
You can use this fill in the blank statement at the end of the week to not only recognize one of God’s attributes that you found most convicting, but also to ask yourself how knowing God more should change you.
*Knowing that God is _____________ shows me that _________________________________.
For instance…
Knowing that God is my God, my living water, shows me that it is only in Him that my soul will be satisfied. (Psalm 63:1)
Each Saturday, I will be posting a similar chart for you to refer to as you read through the psalms and read our posts each day. We hope that you will be sharing your thoughts with us about what you have discovered about God and Jesus!

We are so excited to be continuing our journey through the Psalms with all of you!
Have a blessed week everyone!
